Naples Roots and Education
He was born and raised in Naples, Florida. He is the son of recently retired gastroenterologist Dr. Keith P. Hussey, who practiced in Naples for over 30 years.
After graduating from Naples High School, Kurtis moved to Gainesville, Florida, where he earned both his Bachelor of Science and his Doctorate of Dental Medicine degrees at the University of Florida. Graduating at the top of his dental class, Dr. Hussey was inducted into the dental honor society of Omicron Kappa Upsilon. He went on to further his dental skills and knowledge by completing an Advanced Education in General Dentistry residency at the University of Florida in St. Petersburg, Florida. Following his extensive educational career as a Florida Gator, Dr. Hussey then worked part-time for the University of Florida as an Adjunct Clinical Assistant Professor here in Southwest Florida, providing outreach dental care to children in Collier County.

Life in Paradise
When he isn’t busy advancing his dental skills and knowledge outside of the office, Dr. Kurtis Hussey enjoys the perks of living in paradise with his family in Naples, Florida. His wife, Alyssa, is a practicing School Psychologist.
Both he and his wife are Naples natives. They enjoy boating, fishing, and beach days in the community they have always called home and find most peace. He and his wife recently welcomed their baby daughter, Addison, and are thrilled for the many new adventures of parenthood.
