Who is Dr. Horak?
Dr. Jose M. Horak is a General Dentist with advanced training in restorative and implant dentistry.
Dr. Horak was born and raised in Portugal. His decision to pursue a career in Dentistry was made at a very young age. Listening to patients and treating patients with compassion is one of his primary commitments. In today’s climate of impersonal managed healthcare, when you visit our office, you will experience a level of personal attention that is unique to our practice philosophy. With the constantly evolving field of dentistry, his focus is on education, innovation and advancing his skill development to provide the highest quality dental care to his patients. Dr. Horak attended Central Connecticut State University, graduating with a Bachelor’s degree in Biomolecular Science with honors. It was at the Central Connecticut State University that he met his wife and best friend, Amanda, to whom he has been married for over 10 years.
Dr. Horak completed his degree of Doctor of Medicine in Dentistry (D.M.D) with honors from The University of Connecticut in Farmington, Connecticut. Following dental school, he completed a rigorous residency program in Advanced General Dentistry at the University of Florida.
Dr. Horak completed additional training at both the prestigious Dawson Academy for Advanced Dental Study and at the Implant Educators comprehensive dental implant continuum. Dr. Horak received his Fellowship status with the International Congress of Oral Implantologists.

Getting to know your doctor
Dr. Jose Horak was born and raised in Portugal and his decision to practice dentistry was made at a very young age. When he isn’t busy advancing his dental skills and knowledge outside of the office, Dr. Jose Horak serves as a dental officer for the Air Force Reserves. He loves his down time where he can be found spending time with his wife Amanda, his son Mateo and furry goldendoodle daughter Zoey. He has many personal interests: gardening, hiking, exercise, travel, sailing, wakeboarding, surfing, snowboarding, and soccer.
